Emmanuel Habimana is a filmmaker, activist, and survivor of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. His activism began in Kigali where he collaborated with his peers to assist other orphans of the genocide. An orphan of the genocide, Emmanuel co-directed Komora: To Heal, a documentary about the experiences of orphans after the genocide.
